Privacy notice

The controller is Houseli, a UK homeowner introduction service at houseli.co.uk. Email hello@houseli.co.uk. We operate in London.

Our registered company name and registered office are not published on this site yet. They will appear on Contact once confirmed. Until then, email is the way to reach us about your data. We have not appointed a data protection officer.

If you start an enquiry we collect what you type: name, phone, email, postcode, answers about the job, optional notes, optional photos, and which Houseli page you arrived from (including advertising click ids on that URL, if any).

We use that to review the job and, if you continue the enquiry form and we have a suitable partner, to share it with one independent roofing specialist so they can contact you. You are not under a legal duty to give us this information. Without contact details we cannot make an introduction.

Continuing the contact step (Save and continue) is how you agree to that use. We do not treat that click as consent for marketing email. Optional marketing stays off unless you ask us later. When email delivery is switched on, we may also send a short receipt to the address you gave on the form.

Photos are optional. They sit with the enquiry so a specialist can see the roof. Do not upload pictures of other people unless you have a good reason. We do not use enquiry photos for advertising.

The contact form stores your name, email, role and message so we can read it. Partner applications store the company and coverage details you send so we can decide whether there is a fit. We do not sell those lists.

Essential storage runs the site and the enquiry form. Optional Google Analytics runs only if you click Allow analytics. The list, and a control to change your choice, is on the cookies page.

• Reviewing your enquiry — steps at your request before a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
• Sharing with one specialist — consent (Save and continue on the enquiry form). You can withdraw by emailing us. That does not undo an introduction already made.
• Marketing email — consent, off by default (not bundled into Save and continue).
• Analytics — consent via the cookie banner.
• Contact and partner messages — steps at your request.

Houseli operators who review enquiries. One independent specialist, if you consented and we match. Google and Meta, only if you allow analytics. We do not auction the same enquiry to a list of trades.

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 and (when configured) Meta may process measurement data outside the UK. That does not include names, phone, email, notes or photos from the form.

We use suppliers to run the product. They process personal data only for Houseli, under our instructions:

• Vercel — hosts the website and stores enquiry records, photos and operator session data in private cloud storage when that storage is switched on.
• Resend — sends operational email (for example a brief to a partner after an introduction). Mail is sent from hello@houseli.co.uk when that sending is configured.
• Google — Google Analytics 4, only after you allow analytics.
• Meta — Meta Pixel for ad measurement, only after you allow analytics, when a Houseli Pixel id is configured.

We do not sell your personal data.

Enquiry, contact and partner records sit in our operator CRM. There is no automatic deletion job yet. Email hello@houseli.co.uk if you want a record deleted and we will say what we can do.

You can ask for a copy of your data (including in a portable format), to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to some uses, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email hello@houseli.co.uk. We do not use solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. A person reviews matches.

This site is for homeowners and trades, not for children.
